The Rush Memorial Hospital Foundation made a move into its own facility this summer. Now located at 1230 North Main Street the RMH Foundation has more room, more storage, and more visibility on Main Street.
The community is invited to stop in on Thursday, any time between 4:30 to 6 p.m. to tour or new office. Members of the RMH Foundation Board will be present to meet you. Faith Mock, RMH Foundation Director said, “This will give the community an opportunity to meet our Board of Directors, Administrative Assistant Mary Frances Friedl, and see firsthand our office and the work that the RMH Foundation is engaged in to support Rush Memorial Hospital and the community’s health needs.”
The Rush Memorial Hospital Foundation began in November of 2005. Its purpose was to support through donations, events, and grants the health needs of the community through the services of Rush Memorial Hospital. Avy Leissring served as its first director. Today, the RMH Foundation has multiple outreaches to the community, has expanded its board to 15 members, and has provided funding throughout the expansion of the hospital building, campus, and services. The latest project has been the upcoming RMH Shuttle Service which should launch later this fall.
Please stop by the new office, enjoy some light refreshments, and exciting news as the RMH Foundation embarks on its next decade of great health in Rush County and surrounding communities.
